We managed the detailed design for repairing the 7.6km New Katrine Aqueduct in Glasgow, involving a combination of mass concrete-lined and unlined rock sections. The project utilised sprayed concrete and rock bolt methods, with an additional 2km of rock tunnelling by drill and smooth blasting technique. Additionally, we supported the main contractor in procurement and supervised site works for AECOM.
